NETWORK ORGANISATION

A natural way of organising!

A network organisation is fast and agile because it consists of smaller teams that are interconnected by means of a meaningful relationship. A network organisation has minimum hierarchy. It is built up according to the natural way of working together in teams, based on the independence of the participants and shared decision-making. The team determines itself how much time it will take to carry out a task and is jointly responsible. The knowledge, experience, creativity and fastness of every member all form essential parts of our organisation power and agility.

EIGHT AREAS OF ATTENTION

Teams are active in one of the following eight areas of attention:

  1. Inheritances
  2. Fund raising
  3. Campaigns from thirds
  4. Businesses
  5. Marketing
  6. Innovative financing
  7. Target destinations
  8. Organisation

REGIONAL TEAMS

Most volunteers feel well by organising events or holding campaigns in their own regions. The regions Haarlem, Breda, Rijnsburg, Limburg and North-Holland (all in the Netherlands) are presently really active.  Region coordinators are the ‘linking pins’ with the Board and they often are also the contact points for parents whose children have been diagnosed for Usher Syndrome and who want to convert their powerlessness into action.
